Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of arboristtreeexperts.com and any services performed by Arborist Tree Experts ("we", "us", "our") on your property. By contracting our services or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services we provide
Arborist Tree Experts provides tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, emergency storm response, palm care, land clearing, tree health diagnosis, cabling and bracing, arborist consultations, forestry mulching, hedge trimming, debris hauling, and related arboricultural services within Volusia County, Florida and surrounding areas.
2. Estimates & quotes
Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated and are based on the tree(s) and conditions observed at the time of inspection. We reserve the right to revise the quote if site conditions, scope, access, or hidden hazards are discovered during execution. Any change will be communicated and authorized in writing or by recorded confirmation before additional charges apply.
3. Permits & municipal compliance
The City of DeLand, Volusia County, and other local jurisdictions require permits for removal of certain protected, historic, or specimen trees. We will pull required permits as part of the work scope and pass through any municipal fees at cost.
4. Property access & preparation
You authorize us to enter your property to perform agreed work. You agree to remove personal property, vehicles, and obstacles from drop zones and to grant temporary access through gates and easements as needed. We are not responsible for damage to undisclosed underground utilities (irrigation, fiber, gas, low-voltage lines) outside of those marked through Sunshine 811.
5. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of work unless other terms are agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, ACH, and major credit cards. Past-due balances accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted under Florida law.
6. Insurance & liability
We carry $2 million in general liability insurance and full Florida workers' compensation. Certificate of insurance is available on request before work begins.
Our liability for any property damage caused by our crew during the work is limited to the actual cost of repair or replacement, not to exceed the limits of our insurance. We are not liable for incidental damage from natural causes (storms, lightning, prior structural failure) discovered during the work.
7. Tree health & recommendations
Recommendations regarding tree retention or removal are made under ISA Best Management Practices and TRAQ methodology, but tree behavior is biological and subject to inherent uncertainty. We do not guarantee that a tree retained on our recommendation will not subsequently fail, nor that a tree treated for disease will fully recover.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel non-emergency scheduled work with 24 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled crew dispatch may incur a mobilization fee equal to one hour of labor.
9. Photographs
We may take photographs of completed work for portfolio, insurance, and marketing purposes. We will not include identifying information about you or your property without consent.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Volusia County, Florida.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
